⚠️Fake oxycodone tablets have been found to contain N-desethyl isotonitazene⚠️
You never know what you are getting when using fake oxy or other prescriptions. Although this is the first time N-desethyl isotonitazene has been found in NSW, there have been multiple alerts for nitazenes in other fake painkillers and benzos in the last few years.
Know the signs of an opioid overdose:
Pin-point pupils
Difficulty speaking or walking
Drowsiness
Loss of consciousness
Slow breathing/snoring
Skin turning blue (if light skinned) or grey (if darker skinned)
Reduce your risk:
Don’t use alone.
Tell your friends what you think you are taking.
If you’re using a new batch, start out with a small dose.
Be careful if mixing different drugs.
Always carry Naloxone and tell others where they can find it on your person.
Call 000 if something is wrong and naloxone should be given immediately if available.
